Technical Program Manager, Camera Hardware

As an Camera HW Technical Program Manager at Meta’s Reality Labs, you will lead multidisciplinary programs through the product development stages to develop custom camera HW subsystems and drive an industry-leading camera experience in Meta’s consumer products. You will establish requirements with internal and external customers, manage program schedules, identify risks and associated mitigation plans, and clearly communicate to program stakeholders.
We look for program managers who are motivators, cross-functional relationship builders, and champions for driving the right level of process to ensure smooth and predictable program execution in a cross functional environment.
Technical Program Manager, Camera Hardware Responsibilities
Have end-to-end ownership of the camera HW subsystem during New Product Introduction (NPI), including camera architecture, custom detail design, KPI definition, system tuning, and quality verification
Participate in program scoping and roadmap definition for camera
Set program milestones, communicate program status to team and leadership, identify program risks and coordinate a plan of response to mitigate risks
Manage development, delivery, and qualification of camera subsystems based on system requirements, technical challenges, lead-times and business needs
Resolve dependencies with cross functional teams
Manage communication within, and between, internal engineering and external vendor teams
Minimum Qualifications
2+ years experience working with the development of camera systems
5+ years experience as Program Manager managing camera hardware from concept to mass production
Experience with working with cross functional teams
BS in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or other relevant engineering discipline

$134,000/year to $196,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
