NVIDIA is looking for a highly motivated Software Engineer to join its dynamic and fast-paced customer delivery organization. In this role, you will be owning the coordination of all activities related to the delivery of automotive safety compliant software for specific OEM/T1 customers. You will drive this through effective teamwork and communication across organizations and ensure alignment with all internal and external key partners.

The Autonomous Driving Simulation Engineer is responsible to Develop, Debug and Validate the simulation infrastructure software.

What you'll be doing:

  • Responsible to guide and support the Nvidia's simulation infrastructure customers

  • Drive the simulation infrastructure architecture used for development and validation of autonomous driving functions

  • Code and bug fix simulator components in C++ programming language

  • Integrate and validate the sensor, vehicle & traffic models in simulation infrastructure

  • Integrate Nvidia's simulation infrastructure with the HiL's from other vendors

  • Develop and execute scenarios of Autonomous Driving functions

  • Generate the test plans based on programs and execute the test cases in vehicle level on public roads and proving grounds

  • Train and provide continuous support to Nvidia simulation infrastructure customers

  • You will be part of an internationally distributed team with remote locations in US, APAC and India

What we need to see:

  • Degree in an engineering or computer science-related discipline or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of relevant working experience

  • Hands on experience in C++, Open DDS, Co-Simulation, development and debugging of Autonomous Driving simulation infrastructure

  • Knowledge of commercial automotive HiL systems from vendors such as DSpace, Vector, ETAS etc.

  • Experience in applying automotive simulation standards such as Open Scenario, OSI, OpenDrive etc.

  • Good knowledge of process standards like ASPICE & ISO26262

  • Good written and verbal interpersonal skills - concisely articulate knowledge and ideas

  • Excellent written and oral skills in English

  • Willing to travel as required

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Self-motivated and work effectively across different international functional organizations

  • Dedicated and able to work with a minimum of supervision

  • Working experience with ADAS or autonomous driving applications

  • Knowledge of complex SoC based automotive systems

  • Participation in ASAM meetings is highly desirable

  • Experience in testing system based on various sensors (e.g. camera, radar, lidar, GPS, ultrasound etc.)
