540 is seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to create user-centered applications for the federal government, leveraging modern open-source technologies on AWS. As a key member of an agile team, you will collaborate with designers, developers, and federal stakeholders on the USCIS Biometrics and Scheduling System. Embedded within DevSecOps teams, you’ll contribute to an optimized and accessible user experience in a highly collaborative environment.
Your responsibilities will include conducting user research, refining requirements, designing mockups, and presenting intuitive, streamlined designs. By supporting USCIS's mission, your work will assist immigration benefit seekers and enhance the overall user experience for all system users.
Location: Remote within the continental United States, East Coast working hours with some flexibility afforded
Citizenship & Clearance Requirement: per client requirements, must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a DHS Public Trust clearance
Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree
