The Supplier Diversity and Sustainability Analyst is responsible for integrating 3rd party supplier data for use in developing, producing, and analyzing procurement spend data for the purpose of facilitating strategic analysis and decision-making across BCG. Key stakeholders for deliverables include NAMR Sr. Management, NAMR Diversity, Inclusion & Equity, NAMR Clients as well as Global Procurement. The Supplier Diversity Analyst will use multiple applications and sources to inform the accuracy and completeness of report deliverables to further Supplier Diversity and Inclusion initiatives.

Data & Business Analytics
  • Assist the team with developing short-, medium- and long-term data analytics strategy
  • Review, update, and investigate pertinent data from various data sources to ensure a high level of quality, accuracy, and timeliness
  • Query multiple data sources using programing languages such as SQL and Python
  • Produce visualization and developing dashboards using Tableau/Alteryx
  • Analyze data and provide insights and recommendations for organizational planning and operations.
  • Create business analytics by synthesizing information from multiple sources of data for business decisions and strategic planning.
  • Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality
  • Provide training and education to the team on data and analytics related topics
Supplier Diversity Program Implementation
  • Provide predictive analytics and benchmarking data to illustrate trends with Diverse Suppliers and aid in decision-making across Procurement (e.g., industry trends, supplier performance, cost dynamics, certification status)
  • Analyze and create narrative based on understanding of data from multiple, integrated sources including US Small Business Administration, The System of Award Management, and 3rd Party Databases.
  • Responsibilities will include defining the project scope and strategy, conducting process walk-throughs, performing detailed testing, drafting detailed reporting/action plans, and following up on implementation efforts.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and discussion documents for stakeholders and management, participate in various Supplier Diversity and Inclusion projects and serves as a resource for others in addition, provide support and training for sourcing, diversity and inclusion and spend analytics tools
  • Calculate and validate Supplier Diversity spend data, measure, and report on category sourcing performance, create daily and periodic reports as needed and analyze and develop methods to analyze Supplier Diversity Certification to support supplier diversity initiatives
  • Work with Supplier Diversity Manager to develop supplier diversity framework and to Identify and measure ongoing activity with Diverse Suppliers; collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create operational metrics dashboards and reports, identify benchmarks and baseline information to identify new and existing Diverse Suppliers, and assist team with Diversity and Inclusion initiatives. Develop relationships with key functional leaders

  • University degree or equivalent with 2+ years of experience preferably in a customer service role, preferably in a procurement operations or procurement consulting group
  • Experience manipulating large quantities of data in relational databases and SLA and performance for support
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and oral and written communication skills with experience of managing multi-geographies across time-zones
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Purchase-to-pay tools (e.g., Coupa, Oracle ERP, SAP etc.)
  • Global experience within the professional services industry to procurement or related function, Interfacing with a
  • variety of internal and external customers with responsiveness and professionalism


Local/system/regional operational leaders, global functional leaders, and BCG leadership. BCG's Chief Operating Officer leads the team, which is comprised of team members across various cities and countries. This role will report to the Supplier Diversity Manager.
