People Operations Coordinator

KIra Systems is looking for a People Operations Coordinator who will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day People activities such as onboarding, offboarding, benefits & payroll administration and projects related to the employee experience. As an integral part of the People Team, this individual will not only coordinate multiple people projects and get exposure to diverse areas of people operations, but also have the opportunity to participate in other People Team projects.

What You Will Be Doing
- Provides general People Team support by acting as the first point of contact for all Kirans globally, resolving or escalating issues as necessary
- Acts as the central hub on the People Team for global administrative/operational activities, ensuring employee updates are made in a timely manner and that overall data hygiene is accurate for reporting purposes
- Collaborates with People Team specialist roles. For example: Payroll for employee changes, new hire updates and benefits administration; Compensation for reporting and salary survey support; Talent Acquisition for new hire set up, background checks and orientation.
- Manages new hire pre-boarding and day 1 orientation, such as ensuring new hire packets are sent in advance, forms are completed accurately, and key policies, training and programs are shared with new Kirans
- Provides support in drafting and reviewing People communications, including program updates and employment letters
- Maintains all required employee lifecycle documents in BambooHR and Google drive (e.g., employment letters, exit information)
- Assists in updating procedures and policy documents alongside the People Team
- Supports the rollout of People programs, policies, and initiatives to ensure consistent implementation and application of programs
- Supports office operations including ordering supplies, administering COVID questionnaires, managing access to the office and participating in Joint Health and Safety Committee
