Overview

Development InfoStructure (Devis) is seeking an HR Customer Service and Workforce Relations Specialist to support employee relations and provide outstanding HR service delivery. This role emphasizes ensuring a positive workplace environment, addressing employee inquiries, and assisting in the implementation of HR customer service strategies that align with organizational objectives.

Primary Duties

  • Act as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries, providing timely and professional customer service to employees.
  • Resolve employee concerns related to workplace policies, procedures, and interpersonal conflicts.
  • Support the development and execution of HR strategies that promote employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Gather and analyze workforce feedback to identify areas for improvement in HR service delivery.
  • Partner with HR leadership, legal, and compliance teams to address complex employee matters while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Deliver training and resources on HR policies, customer service practices, and DEIA initiatives.
  • Assist in promoting Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) through proactive workforce initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with employment regulations and organizational policies.
  • Contribute to process improvement projects aimed at enhancing HR services and employee experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in human resources, customer Service or workforce relations.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills.
  • Commitment to promoting DEIA in the workplace.
  • Proficiency in HR Systems and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Must be able to obtain a public trust or greater.

Desired Qualifications

  • HR certifications (SHRM-CP, SPHR).
  • Experience in federal government or international development sectors.
  • Familiarity with change management and organizational development.
  • Proven track record of improving HR service delivery and fostering customer service culture.
  • Previously worked as a contractor or direct hire at USAID.
  • Experience hiring, managing or working with PSCs
