Job Description

Job Title: Graphic Designer

Location: remote (central time zone preferred!)

Contract/FTE: Contract

Duration: 3 months, starting end of Jan

Hours/month: 10 guaranteed hours/month (not week!), potentially more and growth in the future.  Will flex up and down each month depending on demand. 

Hourly Rate: $65/hour

**This will be a W2 Engagement

Job Description:

• Help provide design and production assistance for Creative Services projects (everything from flyers, certificates, hang tags, street signs, digital work, general campus collateral)
• Edit existing design projects and create new ones
• Prepare proofs for customers
• Prepare/send files to vendors
• Scan photographs or other art
• Edit digital photography and prepare images for photo library
• Help manage digital photo library
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Demonstrate proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop or Illustrator, Excel, Word and PowerPoint/Keynote
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrate responsibility and maturity in working with others
• Demonstrate accuracy in daily tasks
• Demonstrate ability to work with and without supervision
• Learn and provide excellent customer service
• Learn and practice Associated Press and brand style
• Successfully meet deadlines
