Role Overview
The Coca-Cola Company is seeking a strategic and results-driven Franchise Director to lead and drive the performance of our franchise operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing relationships with bottling partners, ensuring alignment with TCCC’s business objectives, and driving sustainable growth within the franchise territory. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry, and the ability to execute strategic initiatives that enhance market penetration and brand equity.
The Director, Franchise – NER-JKD, will lead the Company operations to ensure the region achieves its objectives and captures all opportunities for profitable growth, focusing on both short-term and long-term results. This role cuts across multiple states in India Developing, namely – North East Region & Jharkhand, contributing to an annual volume of 70 muc (2024). The role will report to Senior Director, Franchise – Central & WB. The role can be based out of Guwahati/ Kolkata or Ranchi. The role holder’s responsibilities will include:
The role is responsible for driving business across the region and will be managing relationships with all the bottling partners.
What You Will Do for Us:
1-Franchise Management:
2- Lead in-market execution capability enhancement plans ensuring that we have flawless execution of consumer preferred, customer led, sustainable and profitable propositions.
3-Lead the operational integration of strategic recommendations – build and improve relationships with bottler through integration of in outlet activation and investments with the bottler sales function.
4-Manage, inspire and develop a team of talented commercial leaders and build relationships across the Region team for functional support – Marketing, Finance, Technical, and Public Affairs & Communication.
5-Define Commercial Productivity plans for Franchise – short and long range; Define business metric; oversee plan implementation; track & steward performance; define course correction plans. Clearly assess and steward productivity performance across key area – guide/influence CCB ATL DME investment (ROI), Capex, Sales productivity tools, non-working/working ratios overall and across key areas and charter roadmaps of improvement.
6-Manage effectiveness and efficiency of System Commercial investment and operating expense resources:
