Meta is looking for a Communications Associate to join our Strategy & Insights team. This team works across all teams at Meta and provides insightful, analytical reports that have a direct impact on decisions made within the company. This person will be responsible for monitoring news cycles and developing analysis and reports for Meta’s most pressing issues. A key part of this role is keeping teams informed with real-time news updates, summaries of social media conversations, and media coverage trends, themes, and overall comparative analysis.
Communications Associate Responsibilities
Monitoring news cycles
Developing analysis and reports around Meta’s most pressing issues
Keeping Meta leadership informed of real-time news updates, including key themes & narratives across both traditional & social media
Minimum Qualifications
2+ years of experience monitoring press and stakeholder relations
Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Public Relations, Broadcast, or related field
Demonstrated experience in crafting clear and concise reporting deliverables
Experience producing high-quality output under severe time constraints
Organization skills & attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Evidence of interest in Meta's products and policy issues
Experience using data platforms to monitor media volume and analyze social media conversation
Experience working at a public affairs agency
Experience working at a technology company

$35.10/hour to $107,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
