The Finance and Business Planning team enables Meta to plan, prioritize, and execute as effectively as possible. We take a uniquely long-term view towards business problems and operate with an independent and objective perspective, representing our point of view to our executive stakeholders. We serve as financial advisers to our business partners and own shared business goals and results where appropriate. We strive to balance our responsibility to support business partners with our responsibility to serve the long-term mission and sustainability of Meta and act as stewards of company resources.

You will join the team that oversees our new product investments in headcount, operating expenses, and capital. Responsibilities will include owning product P&L, leading forecasting and planning, developing strategic and operational insights, and modeling financial scenarios to guide product and business decisions. This is a unique opportunity to work on a blend of finance, strategy, and analytics, while focusing on process management and improvement. Our ideal candidate is a well-rounded top performer who can be a key contributor in a high-energy growth environment.

Business Operations Manager, Metaverse Responsibilities

• Understand, impact, and influence business investment decisions through detailed financial analysis
• Provide hands-on analytical support and develop actionable insights throughout the product development process
• Drive data driven decision making & analysis of product decisions and strategic roadmap investments
• Deep dive into critical capital Investments, HC requirements, and long-term strategic implications of agreements
• Provide insights to business partners through scenario based modeling and long-range forecasting
• Own ad hoc strategic and operational projects as required, and drive process improvements by partnering with cross functional owners
• Create strong business partnerships with various functions across the RL business

Minimum Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in business strategy, finance, management consulting, or product management
• Experience in data analytics, data visualization, and scenario based analysis
• Experience leading cross-functional projects with stakeholders
• Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Math, Statistics, or related analytical field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a management consulting firm, investment bank, or a high-growth tech company
• SQL experience
• MBA or MS in quantitative field
• Experience working in consumer electronics or technology

$128,000/year to $187,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
