WHAT YOU'LL DO

The learning and development function supports the growth of BCGers by designing and delivering business-centric learning and development programs and events. In this role, you will be responsible for selected AP learning programs and L&D initiatives for AP Consulting Teams. You will work closely with BCG’s local, regional and global teams.
Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

1. Be responsible for refining programs, managing trainers and program delivery
• Refine curriculum and content: Collaborate with global counterparts to continually push for curriculum and content refinement, incorporating AP-specific participant and trainer feedback and evolving business needs
• Prepare for training events: Brief external and internal trainers on to achieve desired learning outcomes and experience
• Host and facilitate training programs: support trainers by asking probing questions, reinforcing key messages, and tying the various sessions from training program together
• Engage participants and trainers post program. Analyze program performance, document and implement enhancements

2. Drive program operations and logistics to deliver high quality learner experience
• Develop and maintain annual training calendar that is inclusive for AP-wide participants
• Uphold L&D policies including training cancellation policies to protect learner time
• Build strong relationships with both internal and external training vendors. Manage scheduling, and for external training vendors, manage logistics, billing, and invoicing
• Maintain learner roster and post program feedback
• Support the development of annual program budget and lead monitoring of budget use throughout the year
• Be a thought partner in identifying opportunities to improve operational effectiveness, efficiency, and innovation to improve learner experience, and sharing these ideas for the betterment of BCG’s broader L&D community



3. Be an ambassador for L&D throughout ongoing L&D transformation
• Represent AP and participate in selected regional or global working teams, on various initiatives to support ongoing L&D transformation (e.g., adoption of learner experience platform, institutionalization of continuous learning, strengthen L&D community, etc)
• Support AP L&D team leadership to engage with learners, L&D colleagues and leadership to facilitate alignment and drive change
• Aggregate and share various L&D initiatives by celebrating successes as well as to highlight areas to continually work on
• Take on other initiatives to support the L&D innovation and evolution according to business and learner requirements

YOU'RE GOOD AT


You should be exceptionally strong in building trusted relationships with a wide array of stakeholders across all levels, and you are comfortable working independently and effectively in a virtual team environment, partnering across functions, geographic, cultures and staff levels within BCG. You are comfortable working with ambiguity in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.

You are experienced in learning design and bring energy to training facilitation. You are detail-oriented and yet do not lose the bigger picture. You are continuously driven to better the experience of learners, bringing creativity, innovation and embracing new technologies.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)


Education
  • BA/BSc degree required
  • 6-8 years of experience in learning & development, experience either in consulting/ professional services an added advantage

Knowledge
• Equipped with strong communication/ presence, and basic facilitation skills
• Experienced in project management and stakeholder management
• Comfortable in delivering both virtual and residential training programs
